Storywalk®

New StoryWalks® are planned. Watch this space.

How does it work?

It's simple! Find the welcome board at Te Korotuaheka (The Honda Forest, off Cass St) in Kaiapoiand follow the arrows to see Tui and his feathered friends get up to mischief, and learn some Te Reo along the way. When you finish the story, scan the QR code to enter the prize draw—there are loads of prizes up for grabs, including books, book vouchers and more!

About StoryWalk®

The StoryWalk® project was created in 2007 by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and subsequently developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.  Ferguson wanted to create something different, fun and interesting to promote early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. It has since been adopted in all 50 states of America and a further 12 countries around the world. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms.Ferguson.
