LOTE4Kids is our new online database of digital books for children in Languages Other Than English (LOTE).
LOTE 4Kids
There are over 2000+ digital books, covering 50+ languages, including a selection of sing-along picture books in Te Reo Māori. Each book also comes with English translations to help kids learn and enjoy languages. New titles will be added every month.
Many of the books incorporate animation and music, and contain subtitles to improve comprehension.
There are also many fun activities like colouring in, word searches, spot the difference and memory games that can be downloaded.
Children and their families will need their library card number and pin to access this resource at home.
