Dates: 1 July to 31 August
Complete as many challenges as you can; complete 1 challenge to go into the prize draw.
Colour in the number of the challenge once you've completed it
Return your booklet to a staff member by 31 August 2026 to go into the draw
If you're picking up a booklet for your child, remember to pick one up for yourself, too! Participating in this challenge is great role-modelling for your child and will encourage them to complete it.
We will have displays with plenty of reading suggestions for the challenges across our three libraries. 😊

Partake in the Hells Pizza challengeThe HELL Reading Challenge is a nationwide program run by The New Zealand Book Awards Trust in conjunction with HELL pizza to encourage school-age children to read more. Come along to any Waimakariri Library to pick up a pizza wheel and then get reading. For every book read, ask library staff to click off and sign a pizza slice on your wheel. Once you have completed 7 slices, you can get your wheel stamped at the library and then trade it in for a free pizza at HELL pizza!
