Our libraries hold a number of major New Zealand daily newspapers and local newspapers. Many international newspapers may be accessed through PressReader or EBSCO databases.
New! We have added an eMagazine collection to our BorrowBox platform.
There are 39 titles in the collection at this point and we hope to add more in the near future. The digital collection has many of the same titles that our physical collection has plus a few new ones.
You can borrow up to 5 magazines at a time for a loan period of up to 1 month per title.

Waimakariri Libraries moved our digital magazines and comics from RBdigital to the Libby app, to form part of our OverDrive collection. The transition to Libby means that our digital magazine content is hugely expanded from around 100 titles to over 3000 magazine titles for you to choose from! There is also plenty of world language material for those who speak a second language.
