At Waimakariri Libraries you will find

  • Device Advice - weekly drop-in sessions to help you use digital technology. Bring your own device or use a library computer.
  • Free computers for public use at each of our three locations, Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Oxford. The computers are Chromebooks which can be booked for 30 minutes per session.
  • Printing and scanning
  • Staff available to help you access the computers.
  • Free wi-fi available 24/7– ask staff for the password.
  • Book-a-Librarian service. Book a 30 minute help session with library staff for topics such as email and internet use.
  • Digital Skills Classes - Regular small group classes covering information technology basics

  • iPads - We have a selection of iPads available at all of our locations. These devices come loaded with educational and creative tools for all ages, making them perfect for positive device time.
  • Osmo Kits - Our Osmo Kits work with our iPads to create a unique learning experience that bridges the gap between digital and physical worlds through the use of iPad cameras. Our wide selection of accessories allow tamariki | children to have fun learning maths, coding, geometry and more!
