To assist teachers, Waimakariri Libraries have a feast of resources available to help teachers feed students who are hungry for knowledge.
You can borrow up to 30 items for up to three weeks each on your membership card, with the option to renew for a further three weeks in most cases. There might be some exceptions please have a look here:
You can return your books at all 3 Waimakariri Libraries (Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Oxford). If you borrow a book in Rangiora for example you can return it to Kaiapoi if you like or vice versa. We have return slots inside the library in Kaiapoi and Oxford and our new return shelf in Rangiora. All 3 libraries have return slots outside, where you can return your books anytime independent of our opening hours.
You can renew an item as long as no one has placed a hold on it, and you have not already renewed it once before.

Can't find what you need in the Waimakriri Libraries collection? We provide an interloan service that allows you to access material held in other libraries in New Zealand. The standard fee for a loan or copy from a New Zealand library is $7. However, charges may vary depending on what you need.
