Ko tōu reo, ko tōku reo, te tuakiri tangata. Tīhei uriuri, tīhei nakonako.

Your voice and my voice are expressions of identity. May our descendants live on, and our hopes be fulfilled.

This term, the Waimakariri Libraries are inviting students to explore our local history through learning activities linking into the Aotearoa New Zealand Histories Curriculum.

Visit your library and follow one of our QR Code Trails to explore the history of your town, or contribute to Waimakariri Heritage, our digital archive for memories and taonga, with your stories and photos of life in the Waimakariri.

Come on your own or bring along your mates; to book a school visit contact our Learning Connections Coordinator jason.clements@wmk.govt.nz
