As we head into the Christmas season, let us remind you of the wonderful gifts you get for free with your library card.

Day 1: BorrowboxDiscover a huge range of eBooks and eAudiobooks for adults, kids and teens on the Borrowbox app.They also hold author talks on a monthly basis! Day 2: Britannica Library Dive into a world of information from a trusted resource. Find information suitable for kids, teens and adults in the different versions of Britannica Library. Instead of doom scrolling, do a deep dive on a topic that interests you on the Britannica Library website.
Day 3: Freegal Create your own playlists, stream, and download songs to keep. With over 18 million songs, including today's top music and yesterday's hits you'll always find something to jam too.
Day 4: LOTE4Kids Discover over 8,000 online picture books for kids in 100+ languages. Each book is read aloud to your child and paired with an English version.
Day 5: PressReader Read over 7,000 newspapers and magazines from around the world with PressReader. Access titles like The Economist, New Zealand Listener, The Wall Street Journal, and more.
Day 6: Creativebug Explore over 1,000 arts and crafts workshops on Creativebug. Learn how to paint, knit, crochet, sew, screen print and more. Day 7: Newsbank Access 160 local, regional and national New Zealand newspapers from the 1990s until the present day. Day 8: Kanopy Watch thousands of critically acclaimed movies and inspiring documentaries. Includes the Kanopy Kids version featuring kids shows and stories.
Day 9: Mango Languages Learn a new language with engaging practical lessons anywhere anytime. Pick a language to learn with over 70 languages to choose from. Day 10: Libby Explore books, audiobooks and more than 3,000 magazines in English and other languages.
