Borrowbox Service Update

As of 12:36pm on 14/10/2025 this issue has been resolved. You may still need to log back into your BorrowBox app to resume access.  Thank you for your patience during this time.

We are aware of issues that some Waimakariri Libraries Borrowbox accounts are having currently. The issues are unique to our library network. A recent service update has affected some accounts and caused log outs.

If your account won't let you log back in there are a few things you can do:

  1. Check if your app is up to date - if not, update it and try again.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
  3. Contact us on 0800 965 542 or library@wmk.govt.nz and we can change your PIN and see if that works

If those actions do not work the next step is to email support@bolindadigital.com about your issue.
In the email, please include your full name, library barcode and PIN so the Borrowbox support team can investigate any issues with your account if need be.

Here's an email template you can use:

Hi team,

My name is __________ and I am a Waimakariri Libraries user. I have been logged out of my account on Borrowbox. A password reset, PIN Change and uninstallation and reinstallation hasn’t solved the issue.

My library card is ___________and my PIN is ______.

Can you please investigate any issues with my account.
