A reflection on Waimakariri Libraries' spring sustainability workshops and how you can still get involved.
Families have enjoyed the opportunity to sow seeds at seed raising events in all three of our libraries, to coincide with the traditional planting period after Show Weekend. Local gardening legends from Eco Educate, and Councillor Brent Cairns shared their knowledge as well as sharing seeds, and plants to give to our community.
Plant and Seed Swap stations have been set up at all libraries across the district. Bring a plant or seed and take one home with you too from 17 November–20 December.
