Get the kids active and outdoors these school holidays!
Join us for the opening of our new Waimakariri StoryWalk® at Northbrook Wetlands on Monday 14 April from 11am – 1pm.
Follow the children’s story of Five Wee Pūteketeke by North Canterbury author, Nicola Toki. This is an innovative way for tamariki, whānau and friends to read, get active and appreciate the beauty of Northbrook Wetlands, one of Waimakariri’s hidden gems!
Free BBQ and a special outdoor Storytime at the wetlands.
The 1.5km path is well maintained and is pram and bike friendly. Please keep your dogs at home.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson in the United States and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
