This second collaboration by Jackie Hancock and Sarah Beal is inspired by the natural environment and a love of creating art intuitively.
In her first exhibition with Sarah Beal (Blōo) they both concentrated on pieces featuring the colour blue, and created some beautiful, serene works. The initial idea was to continue this theme of blue with this exhibition but both found they had moved on from those blue works and needed to challenge themselves with a different subject/topic. So after much discussion (and much coffee) they created the idea of Abstract works and both created some abstract horizons – hence the title of this exhibition. Their second collaboration is inspired by the natural environment and a love of creating art intuitively.
