Haiku HikeJoin Waimakariri Libraries Learning Connections Coordinator, Jason Clements, in a haiku workshop for kids in the Waimakariri District. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to: discover how writing is like magic by creating short poems full of imagery; learn how to become more ‘precise’ and ‘specific’ with their writing; take a ‘Haiku Hike’ along their local river to inspire haiku; gain an opportunity to have their work published in the World Congress of Poets Literary journal, Fuego Volume 3.
