Leo reviews Junior Fiction Press Start! Robo-Rabbit Boy, go! by Thomas Flintham
Press Start! Robo-Rabbit Boy, go! Written and Illustrated by Thomas Flintham
-Jr. Fiction-
“Boop! Boop! I am Robo-Rabbit Boy!”
After the Moon orb is unearthed, the ghosts hiding within are released and kidnap the town hero, Super Rabbit Boy! It’s up to the evil villain King Viking’s newest invention, Robo-Rabbit Boy to save the day! But can Robo-Rabbit Boy ever be a true hero like Super Rabbit Boy was?
Thomas Flintham has completely outdone himself in this fun and colourful instalment in his Press Start! series.
These books do not need to be read in order, and each one is in a comic book/early readers style that is a perfect eye-catching mix for children of all ages and reading stages, especially kids migrating between early readers and Jr fiction. The books being set in a fictional video game universe is a perfect way to help grab kids attention (especially if you have Minecraft lovers in your home like I do)! I adore the Press Start! series and we have a bunch of them in our collection. I have yet to find a kid (or grown up!) that doesn’t love these books!
