“A thing of beauty is a joy forever”
Every painting begins with a vision in Marion’s mind,
but when she puts brush to canvas it all changes.
This is an exceptional collection of Marion’s second ever exhibition. As an octogenarian,
Marion has only recently begun to showcase her work in a gallery setting.
“After my husband Ian died I consoled myself with my painting,” Marion says. “It was wonderful for that. He was always interested in my work and was a great help.” …….. “All my paintings are based on a sudden and personal encounter with some part of nature. I love to paint the feelings these landscapes evoke in me.”
