Christmas is here!

Christmas is Macca's favourite time of year.

He loves thinking up amazing presents for his friends.

But when he looks in his piggy bank, he finds he has no money!

Macca and his best friend Al have to come up with a plan to make the best Christmas surprise for all their friends, and in doing so, discover the true spirit of giving.

Macca's Christmas Crackers is a divine rhyming story, full of Matt Cosgrove's hilarious characters, and his warm and vibrant colourful illustrations.

Told by sparkly storyteller Dolly Diamond, this festive tale is sure to be a family favourite this Christmas.

What you need:

  • Cardboard rolls
  • wrapping paper
  • ribbon or string
  • a selection of Christmas Jokes written on to small pieces of paper
  • small gifts to place inside each cracker (e.g., stickers, stamps, hair clips, stationery, chocolates etc.
  • decorative paper, stickers, washi tape etc for further decoration
  • scissors and sticky tape

  • wrap each cardboard roll with small sections of wrapping paper and secure with sticky tape
  • secure one end of the cracker with ribbon/string
  • repeat until you have your desired number of Christmas crackers.
  • decorate your Christmas crackers with embellishments.
  • share your Christmas cracker with family and friends at the dinner table.
