Let’s get crafty! Our Cricut craft cutter, lovingly named Jiminy, is the ultimate tool for those wanting to take their crafting to the next level.
Jiminy allows you to make detailed shapes and designs come to life with its precise cutting technology. From card, vinyl, and even fabrics, you can make personalised greeting cards, bookmarks, heat-transfer stickers and much more.
Tinker Zone runs using a Traffic Light system. The Cricut is a Yellow Tech, which means that you will need to attend an induction before having access to the tech. These inductions cover the basics and important safety information about the machines.
Once you’re inducted in, we will stamp your Tinker Card. You can present your card to a friendly librarian and they will give you the Cricut kit. The kit includes all the basics you need to get your project started. Just bring your own material!
Purchase from us!
Precut materials (size 30cm x 30cm) are available to be purchased to use with our Cricut machine.
The material type and costs can be found here
To use Yellow Tech, you will need a Tinker Zone card. This card serves as a quick guide reference confirming that you have completed an induction and have the basic knowledge needed to function and safety to operate the Cricut.
Staff will register your name and a phone number to your new card, and show you how to book in for any inductions if you are interested.
Children should have their own card, and anyone under 16 years old must be registered by parent or guardian.
