Scavenger Hunt – Waimakariri local Wiremu the Wrybill wants to show you around our towns! Each scavenger hunt will start and finish at one of our libraries (Kaiapoi, Oxford or Rangiora), follow the map and write the answers to the questions. Complete the scavenger hunt and go in the prize draw to win mīharo |prizes. *This is a walking adventure around town – give yourself at least 20 minutes to complete.
Design your own town - Do you love living in Waimakariri? What if you could design your very own tāone/town? Now's your chance, let your imagination run wild! Would it have a Ferris wheel? An ice-skating rink? A water park or even a shark-filled moat?! Draw or describe your dream town, give it a name, and drop into the library to give us your entry or send your entry to library@wmk.govt.nz to be in to win awesome prizes! Personalise and design your cut-out house, then use the Cricut craft cutter to bring your vision to life.
