Book Club in a Bag

Book Club in a Bag sets are now available to be borrowed!

How it works

• Bags are issued for six weeks
• One book club member is responsible for checking out and returning the entire bag, and is fully responsible for its return, as well as any replacement costs for lost items or a damaged/lost books/set
• Return the bag at the information desk with everything in it during library opening hours
• Bags can be issued to adult library card holders
• One bag equals one item on library account

How to get started

• Have a look at the Book Club in a Bag titles in the library catalogue. This will tell you which books are available
• Come into Rangiora Library and request your bag of choice at the information desk or grab your bag of choice from the shelf (if its available)
• You can also place a hold on the title you would like, and we will send it to your chosen library (Kaiapoi or Oxford)
• Check out the bag of your choice and have fun discussing the book with your book club!

What's included

• 8-10 copies of a book numbered on the spine
• A tag attached to the bag handle with author and title information, and a brief synopsis of the book
• Discussion questions to get you started
• An information sheet explaining the service
• A tally sheet for the book group leader or facilitator — so you can record which numbered book goes to whom
